Since the year 2000, Delin has developed its export business extensively.

Research and innovation work (supported by the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region) has been carried out on the packaging of Brillat-Savarin and other cheeses.

Special packaging has been created, a cheese bell which allows the cheese to breathe and mature during the 25 days of shipping to Canada, for example.

In addition, the company’s various departments have been able to further develop their skills and understanding of the process for export certification to the USA (IFS), which allows refrigerated containers to be shipped by air.

Today, exports represent almost 40% of the turnover of the DELIN cheese dairy.
